Bali has to be one of the world's best places for tourists. The reasons for this span from the ideal climate, the consistence of sunny days, the lovely people and great hospitality, to the richness in marine life, plant life, culture, temples, geography food and of course that nowadays Bali is totally geared for tourist and everything is just so easy.

There are International hospitals, clinics, banks, malls, and so on. When it comes to sightseeing the list just reels off like the waves do at six foot offshore Uluwatu. There are so many routes to take, so many villages to visit, so many temples to be see, and so much culture and sights of outstanding natural beauty to be inspired by. One route popular by tourists would be to start at Denpasar and visit the markets there and get a taste for the frenetic and chaotic mode of life that is omnipresent in all Indonesian cities. In Denpasar there is also the Monument Bajra Sandi Renon to be seen, with its large angular black stone facades. Moving on one might like to visit two exceptional caves riddled with mystique and spiritual energy. The first is called Goa Lawar, or Bat Cave. The second is called Goa Gajah, or Elephant cave. In the latter there is an ancient Buddha statue and also a source of fresh water that has been given holy attributes and is said to cure all illnesses.

Three temples definitely worth exploring are the Besakih Mother Temple, Tanah Lot temple, and Pura Taman Ayun. Besakih is Bali’s largest temple and in fact Indonesia's largest Hindu edifice. It sits on the lower slopes of Bali’s highest mountain, mount Gunung Agung, and offers breathtaking views of the lowlands and hills. Tanah Lot is one of Indonesia’s most photogenic Temples since is built on an outcrop of rack o Bali’s south coast, and during a sunset the place seems to catch fire! Pura Taman Ayun is historically a major Temple and is located close to Denpasar.

Stone carving is something the Balinese have become renowned for and the best place for viewing plenty of carvings and carvers in action is Batubulan, just ten minutes away from Denpasar. Other excellent spots for sightseeing include Ubud, with the immense Royal Palace of the King Tjokorda Gede. There is also the infamous Monkey Forest with its mischievous macaques. Other excellent sightseeing can be done up in Bali’s lakes region of Bedugul, where the wet and cool climate creates quite a contrast to the tropical heat of the south, and where trekking and ambling in mountain lake regions can be easily done.
